Half buried bike tires make a great stand. Not exactly a securing device but locking your bike to a tire is certainly a deterrent! I like how this looks, very geometric and uniform. I think I will be burying some tires at the Room 9.5 (my workshop!) Side note, Ted Ullrich of Tomorrow Lab up in Brooklyn and I made some similar bike racks while studying at Georgia Tech. I will find some pictures of our work and post them soon! Till then, enjoy these!
