First Gabe made a PAC, then a pallet side table, then taught a youth group how to make PACs and now he’s made a Pallet Swing!! Now that is great. Maybe we can convince him to put together a DIY Guide for this beauty. Great job Gabe…as always.
another weekend, another project. i made a porch swing from pallets.

Fantastic IDEA! We will be making one of these with the next round of pallet procurement!
Pallet Transformed into Vertical Planter
Candice N. strikes again. Pallets Adirondack Chairs, or in the case “Love Seats” are becoming short work for her which leads me to believe that she needs a new project. A new DIY Guide…a new spring build. Hmmmm…more pictures of Candice N.’s PACs and her swank Florida waterside paradise after the break.
Derek “Deek” Diedricksen strikes again! Check out his great video done for Make Magazine on how to make a pallet chair. I think this is healthy competition…off to the Atlanta back lots and alleys in search of material!
The pallet coolness continues with Gabe Landes upcycling last weekend! Check out this side table!
did a little upcycling this past weekend. i made an end table and a shelf from pallets. pallet wood is a friendly material. after working hard for many months holding heavy stuff and being moved around by fork lifts, it appreciates being in a home and human touch.
it is good to have a great pallet hook up in town.
Derek “Deek” Diedricksen strikes again with his awesome version of a pallet chair. I must admit, he sent me this some time ago BUT none-the-less it is simple and ready for sitting. All it needs are some plans and I have been informed that he has them in his handy dandy self published book!

Mr. J. Baggett from North Carolina made this amazing chair from the PAC PDF DIY guide. His approach mixed up the design by using the pallet runners as legs, adding seat slats to the back for comfort, and rounding the edges where necessary. His next steps are to sand it down and most likely…sit! Great job Mr. Baggett! Someone is soon to be comfortable in North Carolina!
Another great pallet structure find by Unconsumption. I love the use of local natural materials… Check out their other domains made of pallets…craziness! (PalletHouse)
In South Africa, designers Andreas Claus Schnetzer and Pils Gregor used wood pallets in building an affordable prototype home known as the “Slumtube.” Local natural materials, such as clay and straw, provide insulation.
